Installation Instructions

Installing the fireplace mantels The fireplace mantels are set on premium quality construction adhesive (Sikaflex 1A made by Sika Corp) and mechanically reinforced with screws. The joints may be grouted using sanded tile grouts that are available at most building supply stores, such as Maipei Sanded Tile grouts . . Field Cutting If field cutting is required to fit the specific job’s conditions. Our products may be cut using concrete blades preferable diamond blade. In most cases using a hand grinder with four or seven inch diamond blades will do the job. Clean up Care should be taken during installation. Mortar spills should be cleaned immediately using water. You may also clean the precast pieces using soap and water. Other masonry cleaners are available at specialty stores.
